So cute!!
Ansley's mommy wanted a little sewing lesson. Sew we got to work. I showed her two different ways to make skirts.
The easiest one was an apple and pear fabric and we cut the fabric in a rectangle of about 12" inches by 24".
This will fit a 9 month old cutie! We added ribbon to the bottom and made a casing at the top for the elastic. Which was measured to fit. I know there are many tutorials out there for skirts, if you need help finding a god one let me know.
Then we appliques a couple of flowers to the top to make a whole matching outfit. I had a pair of pink tights too small for Mckinley. snip snip then we had some sweet leg warmers for baby girl to wear while its still cold. When she showed up to church she was sporting a cute pink jacket over it. IT WAS ...A D O R A B L E....
